Geologist Busts CO2 “Pollutant” Myth

Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant.

This shocking revelation was made by Australian geologist and University of Melbourne emeritus professor Ian Plimer this week.

Known for his skepticism of the climate change narrative, Plimer reminded the world that CO2 is, in fact, a vital chemical for life on Earth.

How can something so dangerous be vital?

Dangerous, you say?

The so-called scientific consensus on climate change has been painting CO2 as a killer through and through.

This has led a lot of people to forget that if it weren’t for its greenhouse effect, life on Earth would be literally impossible.

As Professor Plimer puts it, "It is the food of life. It is plant food.”

“But, it is invisible, and you can easily be frightened of something you can't see... and this is being exploited."

Remember? Plants consume CO2 and release oxygen that, in turn, feeds us.

Elementary school basics that so many of us have forgotten — we’ve been too busy worrying about the climate.

A voice in the desert

Plimer, and the handful of other scientists who voice their climate skepticism, definitely have guts.

That’s why if you do an internet search for Ian Plimer, the first thing you’ll read about him is that he “rejects the scientific consensus on climate change.”

It’s a very hostile environment out there, and it’s getting increasingly hostile by the day.

You’re probably wondering what’s the purpose of all this fearmongering about the climate, right?

Well, how about some $3 trillion in low-carbon energy investments that some predict will come out of the IRA?

That’s why nobody remembers that CO2 is actually good for the planet.

That’s a lot of money, and it’s just the start.

Anti-Oil Lobby Scores Legal Win

Big Oil is facing a potential tsunami of litigation after the Supreme Court refused to move five lawsuits from state to federal court.

The ruling is a huge win for the anti-oil lobby, which will likely waste no time in taking full advantage.

What’s this all about, anyway?

Five cities and municipalities are suing Big Oil majors — including Exxon, Chevron, Shell, and BP — at the state level.

The majors wanted the cases moved to federal court, where they stand a better chance of winning…

Because lower courts tend to side with the plaintiffs more often than not.

In fact, Big Oil lost all five cases at lower courts.

Open season for Big Oil lawsuits!

Environmentalists are happy: now they can sue Big Oil for public nuisance, fraud, or consumer protection at state courts.

In federal courts, they would have had more limited grounds for suing, so that’s a double win for the Green camp.

Some cities are probably already tasting the billions they will demand from Exxon, BP, and the rest of them for public nuisance.

But lawyers disagree.

“These wasteful lawsuits in state courts will do nothing to advance global climate solutions, nothing to reduce emissions, and nothing to address climate-related impacts,” one lawyer said.

Well, sure, they will do nothing. That’s not the point.

The point is mooching some money off the productive class (while not actually doing any real work).
